our space |
about the apartment
home is a cozy little apartment in bangsar. built about 7 years ago, it has 34 units with a squash and tennis court, gym and pool. best thing about it is the gorgeous view, overlooking the bangsar pub area. on a clear day, you can even see up to bukit jalil. to the left of our balcony is the famous petronas twin towers and kl tower...the balcony is honestly the best place to be on the eve of big celebrations!

our design concept
we had a major renovation back in 2002 before our wedding to change the original floor tiles to wooden flooring and to carry out some rewiring and repainting. at the same time, we went shopping for a whole load of new electrical appliances and furniture. even thought two years have passed since then, the whole apartment is still a work in progress as we are still searching for decorative items such as wall paintings, etc.
when we started decorating the apartment, the main thing we agreed on was to keep the design and furniture simple. we wanted the scheme to be fresh and bright, hence the underlying cream, beige and white theme throughout the whole place. all the furniture in our apartment have clean lines without any ornate designs. to keep our home from looking too sparse, we slowly searched for small decorative items that have unique designs.
