soo yin's 26th birthday @ pangkor laut
"let's go to pangkor laut for your birthday" said dear hubby while we were eating breakfast (sar hor fun...pretty good!) at a coffeeshop in taman tun. i was so surprised that i almost choked. and so that's how we ended up at ytl's famous resort for my birthday!
khian leng booked a 3D/2N trip, and our accommodation was high up in the hills. 3 hour journey from kl to the lumut jetty and the bumpy one hour boat ride to and fro from the jetty to the resort notwithstanding...it was a lovely lovely trip! the first day was spent exploring the resort and just plain lazing around. on day two, we went for a spa package that consisted on a one hour yoga lesson for me, a morning swim for khian leng, breakfast plus a bath & massage for the both of us...yummy! yoga was great...it was my first time, and lying on the pavilion with the sound of the waves breaking against the stilts and the slight drizzle...you really couldn't ask for more! sounds too good to be true?
